  Dr. Khara is an idiot. My husband went to see him for diabetic neuropathy. He was okay about that. Then, my husband was diagnosed with dementia two years ago by a neuropsychologist. Dementia is supposedly one of Dr. Khara's specialties. When my husband and I told him of his diagnosis, he just laughed at us. He said no one under the age of sixty EVER gets dementia, my husband was 51 at the time. What kind of neurologist thinks that? It is a well known fact it can hit at a younger age, by doctors and the general public. The youngest case of dementia happened to a woman in the U.K. at the ripe old age of 27. Dr. Khara gives me the impression of someone who has not tried to stay up to date on anything in the medical field. I guess what he learned thirty years ago in medical school is enough to carry him through his entire career.
  Also, the billing department is horrible. After successfully filing the insurance for several months, they all of a sudden sent the claim to the wrong place. The claim got denied and they wanted their money upfront at my husband's next appointment. They acted like it was our fault and when they finally figured out it was their fault, they said they would send us a check to reimburse us. We waited and received nothing. Finally, they sent out a second check that we cashed. We thought everything was settled. Well, the next time we went in, they charged us for the first check that they sent us that we never received! Of course, they tried to say it was something else, like an additional treatment. But they finally admitted what it was and they told us they would investigate it and refund our money. That was months ago and we are still fighting them. The original check was from almost a year ago, how long does it take to figure out that no one cashed that check? They try to keep as much of your money as possible, even if they haven't earned it.
